Alois Yosypovych Panocini (real name Ponocný, Czech. Ponocný; about 1820, Bohemia - 23 June 1863, Kyiv) was a Ukrainian musician and music teacher.
Biography.
He was born around 1820 in the Czech Republic. He was a Czech by birth. He graduated from the Main School in Pilsen. From 1852 he taught music at the Kyiv Institute of Noble Maidens, and from 1854 - German at the First Kyiv Gymnasium. In 1852-1855, Mykola Lysenko studied piano in Panoccini at Gedouin's boarding house. He was the author of piano pieces.
He died in Kyiv on 23 June 1863. He was buried in the Baikove cemetery (old part).
