Oleksiyenko Oleksandr

Oleksandr Vasyliovych Oleksiienko (23 October 1968, Sumy) is a Ukrainian instrumental musician and teacher. Artist of the Dzherelo Quartet of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine. Honoured Artist of Ukraine (2011). People's Artist of Ukraine (2022).

Biography
1988 - graduated from the Sumy Music College (class of V. Hrytsypanov) and two courses at the Sumy Pedagogical Institute (1990, class of E. Ivanov).

In 1994 he graduated from the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine (class of Mykola Rizol), and in 1999 from the same Academy in composition (class of Mykola Dremliuga).

Since 1999 he has been teaching at the Academy. Since 2008, he has been an associate professor. In 2003, he received a PhD in Art History.

He performs in the Dzherelo Quartet of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine (kobza-bass).
