Ivan Novokhatskyi (*1883, Chernihiv region - October 27, 1942, Dubno, Rivne region) was a composer and regent of the church choir of St. Elias Cathedral in Dubno.
Before the revolution he studied at the Court Singing Chapel in St. Petersburg; in the 1920s he moved to Dubno and worked as a regent at St. Elias Cathedral, where the leading singers were Zinaida Novokhatska, Halyna Salienko, Oleksandr Ivanov, etc. He left behind many scores; among his works, the most famous are "Our Father" for soprano and choir and "I Believe" for bass and choir.
Novokhatskyi also directed a secular choir that participated in the city's Shevchenko evenings. He was also known as a skillful regent in the churches of Pustyn and Pidborets.
