Narodytska Maria

1988

Born in 1988 in Kiev. Graduated from the National Musical Academy of Ukraine named after Pyotr Tchaikovsky (class of Professor Natalia Tolpygo). She also received a diploma in composition under the guidance of Iryna Oleksiychuk. Since 2015 she mastered her pianistic skills in the class of Professor Ralf Nuttkemper at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg, Germany. Maria is now continuing her studies under Professor Milana Czerniawska in Graz, Austria, and Professor Stepan Simonian in Hamburg, Germany, under the Konzertexamen programme.

Maria has received more than thirty prizes at international piano and composition competitions. These include Sound Espressivo (online, 2020, First Prize); Danubia Talents (online, 2020, First Prize); Triomph de l'Art (online, 2020, First Prize); Citta di Barletta (Barletta, Italy, 2020, First Prize); Adilia Alieva IPC (Annmas, France, 2020, First Prize); Tkaczewski IPC (Busko-Zdrój, Poland, 2020, First Prize); France Music Competition (Paris, France, 2020, Grand Prize) Future Piano Stars (online, 2019, First Prize); ISCART IMC (online, 2020, First Prize); Mauro Paulo Monopoli IPC (Barletta, Italy, 2020, Second Prize - First Prize not awarded) Campillos IPC (Malaga, Spain, 2020, Second Prize) Paderewski International Piano Competition (Hartford, USA, 2020, Franz Liszt Center IPC (online, 2021, Second Prize) Santa Cecilia IPC (Porto, Portugal, 2020, Third Prize) AEVEA IPC (Verona, Italy, 2020, Third Prize) Singapore IPC (Singapore, 2021, Fifth Prize) The Gurwitz IPC (San Antonio, USA, 2020, Diploma).

In 2019, Maria Naroditskaya's debut album of Brahms works was released on the OnClassical label. The digital distribution of this album is handled by Naxos of America. The second album by Maria, who won this opportunity thanks to an audience award at the Richter IPC competition, was released by Nationalux in September 2020. A third album of Schubert music will be released on 5 March 2021.

The pianist's international concert activities include performances at halls such as Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, Sala Maffeiana in Verona, Ruth Taylor Recital Hall in San Antonio along with other theatres and concert halls around the world.

Since 2021 it has received grant support from the VERE MUSIC FUND.
