Ukrainian conductor, Honored Artist of Ukraine, Chief Conductor of the Lviv Academic Regional Music and Drama Theater named after Yuriy Drohobych.
Biography.
He was born in Drohobych. He studied at the Drohobych Music School in the class of double bass, and in 1980 entered the Lviv Conservatory, combining his studies with work at the Lviv Opera. After graduating from the orchestral faculty, he continued his studies at the conservatory as a conductor in the class of Ivan Semenovych Yuziuk.
In 1986-1999 and since 2012, he worked at the Drohobych Music and Drama Theater as the head of the musical department and conductor. During this time, he conducted more than 50 performances and benefit concerts, including an evening of ancient theater music by Bortnyansky.
Since 1999, he has worked as the head of the city's Department of Culture. Since 2002, he has been teaching at the Faculty of Music and Pedagogy of Drohobych Pedagogical University.
