Muravyov Igor Yurievich

Igor Muravyov (27 March 1995) is a Ukrainian violinist and conductor. Winner of international competitions. Winner of the Vyacheslav Chornovil Prize. First violin (1st. concertmaster) of the Austrian-Ukrainian Orchestra K&K Symphoniker. He is a scholarship holder of the President of Ukraine. He performs in Ukraine and Europe as a soloist, conductor, orchestra concertmaster and chamber musician.
Ihor Muravyov began his studies at the age of six at the Solomiya Krushelnytska Lviv Secondary Specialised School in the class of Volodymyr Shurgot. At the age of fifteen, he made his debut at the Lviv Philharmonic accompanied by the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Philharmonic, under the baton of German conductor Denys Proshchayev, with a violin concerto by F. Mendelssohn.

In 2012 he enters the Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy, class of the famous professor Volodymyr Zaransky.

In 2016, he won the competition for the position of 1st Concertmaster in the Austrian-Ukrainian Symphony Orchestra K&K Symphoniker. In the same year, he made his debut as a conductor with the Lysenko National Music Academy Symphony Orchestra.

He has participated in the festivals "Muzyka w starym Krakowie", "Jan Paweł II", "Stravinsky and Ukraine" and many others. He performs with many orchestras and conductors in Ukraine and Europe. Igor Muravyov's repertoire includes all the best violin concertos: Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Sibelius, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Bach, Shostakovich and many others. He is the first performer of many works by Ukrainian composers.

He often gives charity concerts, including those in support of the Ukrainian army.

Igor Muravyov plays the violin of the famous Ukrainian master Volodymyr Antoniuk.
