Mukha Anton Ivanovich

1928-2008

Composer, musicologist.

He graduated from the Kyiv Conservatory, composition class of M. Vilinsky, orchestration class of B. Liatoshynsky (1952), and completed his postgraduate studies there (1955, supervised by M. Vilinsky). He worked as a music editor at the Kyiv TV studio, and as a UWC reference officer. Since 1962 he has been a researcher (since 1991 - a leading researcher) at the Institute of Music and Dance, 2002-04 - Head of the Department, Candidate of Arts (1966), Doctor of Arts (1982), Professor (1993). Member of the NUAU.
