Biography
He was born on June 15, 1950 in the city of Kremenets, Ternopil region.
He studied at the Lviv University, in his last year he was expelled for publishing in the self-published almanac "Skrynia" (authors include Hryhoriy Chubai, Mykola Ryabchuk, Oleg Lyshega, Roman Kis, etc.). The figure of Grigory Chubai and his participation in Skryna became one of the most important factors in the formation of Viktor Morozov's worldview. As he himself recalls in his memoirs dedicated to Chubay:
"It was Hryts who forever instilled in me immunity to provinciality, banality, second-hand stuff in poetry, music, and generally in the understanding and perception of art. After all, discussions and arguments in his house were conducted around the works of Eliot, Pavand, Sylvia Plath, we listened to music of the European level, we tried, despite all the obstacles of the Soviet Union, to touch with our souls all the freshest, avant-garde, modern things that appeared in painting at that time - More , Miró, Arkhipenko, in literature — Marquez, Cortázar, Lagerqvist, and in other artistic genres. Already much later, when I finally had the opportunity to visit many countries of the world, I was surprised to note to myself that despite all the closedness, iron dependence and stupidity of the country in which we all were at that time, we were lucky to keep our hand on the pulse of the artistic life of the world at that time. We, in fact, managed not to turn into slaughtered peasants, who look scared from afar at the action unfolding somewhere over there, on the main stage. No, we also took part in this game, in this play, taking and taking. When I say "we", I primarily mean the circle of people of our generation (such as Oleg Lyshega or Mykola Ryabchuk), whom Hrytsko Chubai himself united to a large extent around him, and later rallied in the already legendary "Skryna". »

The author of numerous songs based on the poems of modern Ukrainian poets (in particular, Lina Kostenko, Kostyantyn Moskaltsia, Yuriy Andruhovych, Viktor Neborak, Oleg Lyshega, etc.).
In 1988, together with Andriy Panchyshyn and Yuriy Vynnychuk, he founded the Lviv theater-studio "Don't be sad!", which became famous for its vivid political satire and revival of the songs of the Sich riflemen, banned in the USSR. On October 5, 1989, on October 5, 1989, during one of the performances of the "Steppe Wind Blown" theater, the then-illegal national anthem of Ukraine "Ukraine is not dead yet" was performed from the stage for the first time.
In addition to joint works with "Arnica", "Smerichka" and "Don't worry!" vinyl records and audio cassettes, Viktor Morozov together with the groups "Chetverty Kut", "Dead Cock" and "Batyar-Band Halychyna" recorded and released a number of solo albums:

The music discography consists of almost 20 albums. At the beginning of the 70s of the 20th century, Viktor Morozov created one of the first "big beat" groups in Ukraine, "Quo vadis", also the founder of one of the first Ukrainian rock groups "Arnika" (1972), VIA "Peer" (1976) , artistic director of the theater-cabaret "Don't be sad!" (1988), laureate of the first "Red Ruth" (1989).
Translates from Portuguese and English. The first translations were published 20 years ago in the magazine "Vsesvit". He became widely known as a translator thanks to the translations of a series of novels about Harry Potter.

In December 2013-January 2014, during the revolutionary events of the Euromaidan, together with Yuriy Vinnychuk and Andriy Panchyshyn, he recorded a series of humorous and satirical songs on national and patriotic current topics. This is the upcoming album "Reffolution", which will include more than 25 compositions.
He participated in a joint project with Hryhoriy Gladiy and the Telniuk sisters "Our Shevchenko: the path to freedom" in Canadian cities in May-June 2016.
Family life
Onyshchuk Motrya's wife, born in Toronto (Canada), is a lawyer and works in an international financial institution. He is the godfather of the son of the editor-in-chief of "Stary Lev Publishing House" Maryana Savka Severyn.
Daughter from the first marriage with Kateryna Nemyra - Maryana Sadovska, singer, actress, composer and arranger.
