Mateiko Liubomyr

1969

Liubomyr Mateiko (born 21 May 1969, Skopivka, Kolomyia district, Ivano-Frankivsk region) is a Ukrainian musician (violinist). People's Artist of Ukraine (2019).
Biography.
In 1984 he graduated from Kolomyia Secondary School No. 1 with honours.

1977-1984 - studying at the Children's Music School No. 1 (violin class, teacher Lekhnyk L.)

1984-1988 - studying at the Vorobkevych Chernivtsi State Music College (violin class, teacher - O. Pavlov). He performed on the stage of the Chernivtsi Regional Philharmonic, as well as on the stage of the M. Zankovetska Drama Theatre.

1988-1990 - artist of the orchestra of the Honoured Bukovyna Song and Dance Ensemble of the Chernivtsi Regional Philharmonic.

1990-1993 - artist-instrumentalist of the highest category of the folklore and ethnographic ensemble "Kalyna" of the Ukrconcert.

1994-2001 - studying at the P. Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine (violin class, teachers: Professor Horokhov O. M., Associate Professor Kozin V. V.).

1994-1995 - soloist-instrumentalist of the highest category of the ensemble "Folk Virtuosos" of the Kyiv Concert.

Since 1995 - Chief Conductor, Artistic Director, solo violinist and arranger, co-founder of the Kyiv Ensemble of Ukrainian Music "Dnipro".
