Mamushev Igor Ivanovich

1956

Ihor Mamushev is a composer, pianist, poet, instrumentalist, and chief concertmaster of the Honored Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In 1976, he graduated from the Luhansk State Music College, and in 1981 from the Kyiv State Conservatory. He actively performed (Azerbaijan, Holland, Kazakhstan, Poland, Russia), accompanied Yevdokiya Kolesnyk, Mykola Kondratyuk, Oleksandr Ponomaryov, and Volodymyr Tymokhin. He composes music for films of the Dovzhenko Film Studio and theater productions.

Recordings of musical works with his participation are kept in the fund of the State Television and Radio Company of Ukraine. His improvisations in Ada Rogovtseva's mono-performance based on the poems of Anna Akhmatova and Marina Tsvetaeva became famous.

He has published 14 books of poetry and prose, 4 composer and piano albums.
