Malyi Dmytro

1987

Dmytro Malyi, Ukrainian composer, pianist, PhD in Art History (2018), winner of international composing competitions in Ukraine, the USA and Austria, senior lecturer at the Department of Music Theory (2020), Department of Composition and
Instrumentation (2021), accompanist of the Department of Solo Singing and Opera Training of the Kotliarevsky National University of Music (2020).
Short biography. Dmytro Malyi, born in 1987, graduated from Kharkiv National University of Arts in 2012.

In 2021, he was awarded a scholarship from the President of Ukraine for young
writers and artists in the fields of music, theatre, visual arts,
choreographic, circus and variety arts, and cinema.

International Trombone Festival "ITF-2019" Muncie, In, USA;
- 2020 - competition for composers in the field of ballet and opera music
"Shid-opera (with the financial support of the UCF), Kharkiv, winner of the competition
for Lullaby (folk scene) for voice and chamber ensemble with lyrics by
Matveeva and for the opera "The Green Circle" in two acts and thirteen scenes with
prologue and epilogue for six soloists, two choirs and symphony
orchestra. Laureate.
- 2021 - Winner of the III degree of the composer competition "Spheres of a Genius - A
Tribute to Leonard Bernstein", Vienna, Austria.
