Vitalii Volodymyrovych Maltsev (15 February 1946, Kharkiv) is a Ukrainian cellist, concertmaster of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Ukraine, People's Artist of Ukraine (2016).
Biography
1970 - graduated from the Kharkiv Institute of Arts (class of Heorhiy Averyanov).
1971-1995 - artist of the symphony orchestra, concertmaster of the cello group of the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv Opera and Ballet Theatre.
1995-2002 - artist of the National Ensemble of Soloists "Kyiv Camerata".
Since 2002 - concertmaster of the cello group of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine.
He has performed in Europe, the USA, and Japan.
Laureate of a number of national and international competitions and festivals.
