Lukianov Stepan Omelyanovich

Stepan Lukianov was a Ukrainian pianist and music educator, director of the Reinhold Glier Kyiv Music School in 1958-1962.

General information
Stepan Lukianov was a pianist by profession. He taught at the Kyiv Pedagogical Institute named after M. Gorky.

In August 1958, following a transfer from this institute, he was appointed director of the Reinhold Glier Kyiv Music School, where he worked until August 1962.

During Stepan Omelyanovych's tenure, in 1959, the school opened a studio school as a base for the pedagogical practice of the students of the school. This contributed to improving the quality of music teaching staff training.
