Lukashov Vladlen Oleksiyovych

1930-2003

Ukrainian composer, author of music for popular musical comedies, including the musical Chasing Two Hares. He is a foreign member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine.

Biography.

Vladlen Lukashov was born on January 15, 1930 in Zaporizhzhia.

In 1955, he graduated from the Kyiv Conservatory, composition class of B. M. Lyatoshynsky's class of composition.

1955-1961 - music editor of the Ukrainian Radio.

Since 1962, he has been working as an artist. He worked mainly in the genre of musical comedy. He collaborated with composer V. Ilyin and librettist D. Shevtsov.

Member of the Union of Composers of the Ukrainian SSR. Foreign member of the NSCU.

Since 2000 he lived in Germany. He passed away on January 20, 2003.
