Ukrainian singer.
Biography.
Vladyslav showed his musical talent from an early age - he performed on stage from the age of 6. He graduated from music school with a degree in piano, where he completed a 7-year course of study in three years.
From 1996 to 2001, Vladyslav Levytskyi was the soloist of the Dyvotsvit ensemble, participating in various children's concerts, competitions and festivals not only in Ukraine but also in Germany, Denmark, Poland, Italy, France, Switzerland, Belarus, Russia and Hungary.
At the age of 16, Levytsky became a student at the Lviv Music College named after S. Lyudkevych and studied both as a vocalist and conductor. In 2004, he continued his studies at the Lviv Institute of Economics and Tourism. The rector of the institute, Ihor Bochan, was the singer's patron, turning a blind eye to all his absences in exchange for performances for the students.
Vasyl was invited as a soloist to join the newly formed musical group Kontakt. But the group soon broke up.
As part of the all-Ukrainian LG Karaoke tour, Levytsky won in Lviv and later in Kyiv, where candidates from all over Ukraine competed in the finals.
In 2006, Levytsky won a musical match on Igor Kondratyuk's TV show Karaoke on the Maidan and became a finalist in the seventh season of the popular TV show Chance, where he lost in the final. After participating in the project, Vasyl Levytskyi changes his stage name to Vladislav Levytskyi (the pseudonym was coined in collaboration with the frontman of the band Skryabin, Andriy "Kuzma" Kuzmenko). Later, the performer continued to work with the producer Igor Talan, who accompanied Levytsky's participation in the musical "Pa" by Olena Kolyadenko.
In the summer of 2008, Vladislav won the third prize at the Slavic Bazaar International Art Festival in Vitebsk. He became a laureate of the New Wave 2009 competition in Jurmala.
In 2010, Vladislav Levitsky became a finalist in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. The following year, he repeated his success, becoming a finalist in the National Selection for Eurovision 2011.
In 2011, he took part in Philip Kirkorov's show "Show No. 1" (Inter TV channel) as a member of the group "Phantoms of the Opera", where he became the team captain. The group takes only second place.
In addition, Vladislav worked not only as a solo artist but also as a member and frontman of his own band, and also collaborates with the Bald Bros project, which creates dance music (the project's compositions consistently take first place in European charts).
In 2012, Vladyslav launched a Balkan music project for which he shot the videos "I Think" and "Irka".
In 2014, he finished recording a Ukrainian-Balkan album and shot a video for the song "Only Wait".
On July 2, 2015, the singer's car was involved in an accident - a head-on collision with a truck, which resulted in Levytsky's death.
