Ukrainian actor of theater and cinema, dubbing, singer, composer.
Biography
He played in the Kyiv Koleso Theater, acted in movies and commercials. Became one of the stars of the first Ukrainian horror film "Stolnya" by Lubomir Levytskyi (2007). The same director also starred in the film "Shadows of Unforgotten Ancestors" (2013).
He gained wide popularity during his participation in the Ukrainian version of the show "Star Factory - 3" - it was not a victory, however, he was noticed by Kostyantyn Meladze and Anastasia Prykhodko (the project "Pasha Lee" appeared under the production of Igor Honcharenko).
Due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Pavlo became a volunteer in Irpen, helped people with evacuation (set up processes), coordinated the collection and distribution of humanitarian aid. On February 25, 2022, he published on social networks an episode from the military drama "Peaceful 21" by Akhtem Seitablayev, in which he played one of the roles - a film about the heroism of Luhansk border guards in the summer of 2014. The last post was filled with the following words: "In the last 48 hours, there is an opportunity to sit down and throw a picture about how we are being bombed, and we smile because we will manage, and everything will be Ukraine. We work!".
Died on March 6, 2022, while traveling in a civilian car with other volunteers. Turning onto one of the streets, the car came under fire from Russian soldiers. Paul's death is a war crime of the Rashists, since he was not a soldier. The Ukrainian lawyer and journalist Yaroslav Kuts was the first to report on the death of Pavel Li: "Pashka Li... they didn't even have time to take a photo... Repent in peace." The body was found on March 13. Buried in the village Vorokhta (Ivano-Frankivsk region), where his mother lives.
Memory
Charity concert in memory of Pavel Lee, at which singers, musicians and dancers performed. The collected funds were directed to charity held on May 15, 2022 in Yaremche (Carpathians).
On June 6, 2022, he was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, III degree, for his significant personal contribution to the development of domestic journalism and the information sphere, courage and dedication shown during the coverage of the events of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, many years of conscientious work and high professional skill.
Before his birthday, on July 10, 2022, a creative evening in memory of "Pasha Li. One life…".
On October 27, 2022, Moskovskii Lane in Kyiv was renamed Pavla Li Lane.
On March 31, 2023, a memorial stele was erected near the place of death, in the Central Irpin Park, as a reminder of self-sacrifice. The relevant decision was adopted the day before, on February 28, at a meeting of the city's executive committee, Akhtem Seitablayev, the director of the film "Mirny-21", in which Pavlo played his last role, joined the fundraising (120,000 UAH).
