Biography
Vasyl Vasyliovych Lazarovych was born on August 6, 1981 in the village of Banya-Bereziv, Kosivsky District, Ivano-Frankivsk Region.
From 1987-1998 Vasyl Lazarovych studied at the Serednobereziv secondary school, graduating with a "Certificate of Commendation" for excellent studies. At the music school, he mastered playing the piano and bayan.
1998-2002 - a student of the music faculty of V.Stefanyk Precarpathian University (Ivano-Frankivsk).
From 2003-2004 - actor of the First Ukrainian Musical "Equator" (the role of Alexander II), directed by Oleksandr Shulakov, composer Oleksandr Zlotnyk and poet Oleksandr Vrataryov. The beginning of cooperation with the People's Artist composer Oleksandr Zlotnyk.
2004 - Vasyl Lazarovych takes part in the "Slavic Bazaar" International Competition (Vitebsk, Belarus), after which the artistic director of the State Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus, Mykhailo Finberg, invites Vasyl Lazarovych to be a soloist in his orchestra.
2004-2005 - Vasyl Lazarovych is a soloist of the State Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus under the leadership of People's Artist of the USSR Mykhailo Finberg. In 2005 Vasyl Lazarovych takes part in the "Father's Home" International Competition (Donetsk, Ukraine), where he wins the "Grand Prix" award.
In 2005, Vasyl Lazarovych took part in the Italian Festival "Retrofest", in which he won the highest award "Best Voice of the Festival".
In 2005, Vasyl Lazarovych entered the P.I. Tchaikovsky Academy of Music at the "Vocal Art" faculty, where he received his second higher education. Vasyl Lazarovych's vocal teacher was People's Artist of Ukraine, soloist of the National Opera of Ukraine, professor Oleksandr Dyachenko.
In 2007, Vasyl Lazarovych represented Ukraine at the International Competition of Young Performers of Popular Music "New Wave" (Yurmala, Latvia).

In 2009, Vasyl Lazarovych won the National Selection of Ukraine for Eurovision by unanimous choice of the National Board of Directors of the Television Company, according to the approved procedure of the competition of the European Language Union and according to the relevant regulations. The choice of the Television Company in the direction of the singer was motivated by Vasyl's constant support of all Ukrainian cultural and artistic projects of the country with the acquisition of popular popularity and the popularization of Ukrainian songs both in Ukraine and abroad. The team of the Television Company and Vasyl Lazarovych conducted the National Television Song Selection for the International Eurovision Song Contest 2010, which was held in Oslo, Norway. Contest participants from Bulgaria, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia were among the invited guests in Ukraine. The choice of the TV viewers and the professional music jury was made in favor of the song "I love you" (music by Brandon Stone, lyrics by Brandon Stone/Golden Helga).
In 2010, in connection with the change of power in the country and, accordingly, the change of the management of the National Television Company, Vasyl Lazarovych's candidacy was canceled and a second National Selection was held, in which the singer took part.
In 2011, Vasyl Lazarovych created the "Grand Concert" concert company, which created large-scale cultural and national projects and tours of Ukrainian and foreign artists. The company's calling card was the annual project for the International Women's Day "You Are the Only One", in which male artists took part in performing their most popular hits dedicated to women accompanied by a symphony orchestra.
Since 2016, Vasyl Lazarovych began cooperation with one of the world's music labels and moved to Europe.
With the beginning of the Russian War against Ukraine, Vasyl Lazarovych returned to Ukraine to support his countrymen, holding the cultural front.

Vasyl Lazarovych leads an active and healthy lifestyle, does sports, workouts, kickboxing and karate. Supporter of healthy food and interval nutrition.
