Lazarenko Andriy Konstantinovich

1909-1983

Andrii Konstantinovych Lazarenko (*30 November 1909, Kharkiv - †4 May 1983) was a Ukrainian composer.

In 1930-1932, he taught at the Workshop at the Kharkiv Conservatory, and in 19346-1936 - at the Kharkiv Music College. In 1935, he graduated from the Kharkiv Conservatory, composition class of Semen Bohatyrev. In 1936-1944 he taught at the Kharkiv Conservatory. Participant of the Second World War.

Since 1948, he was an editor of the Kyiv publishing house "Muzhfond", from 1961 to 1965 - the head of the editorial office of the publishing house "Mystetstvo".
