Mykhailo Lavrushko (born January 1, 1945, Stalino) is a Ukrainian composer and teacher; member of the Union of Composers of Ukraine since 1975.
Biography.
He was born on January 1, 1945 in Stalino (now Donetsk, Ukraine). In 1961-1968, he worked as a concertmaster and led amateur groups in Kamianske-Shakhtynske and Donetsk. In 1968-1969, he was a teacher at a music school in Selydove. In 1974 he graduated from the Odesa Conservatory (class of Ihor Aseyev).
After receiving his musical education, he worked as a teacher at the Donetsk Music School, and in 1975-1977 - at the Donetsk Music and Pedagogical Institute. From 1989-2003 and since 2005 he has been working as an artist. Since 2003, he has headed the musical department of the Donetsk Puppet Theater.
