1991

Ukrainian singer (lyric-dramatic tenor), performer of classical and popular music. Gained popularity in 2010, becoming the winner of the first season of the Ukrainian version of the large-scale vocal show "X-Factor".

Biography
Childhood and youth

Oleksiy Kuznetsov was born on May 28, 1991 in the city of Makiivka, Donetsk region, in the family of Yury Anatolyovich Kuznetsov and Lyubov Antonivna Kuznetsova. There is a younger sister - Kateryna Yuriivna Kuznetsova (1992).

Already at the age of three, Oleksiy began to show interest in opera, and at the age of 12 he knew for sure that he wanted to be an opera singer.

He graduated from a music school with a guitar class.

After graduating from secondary school, he entered the Donetsk Music School at the "Academic Vocal" department. During his studies, as a freshman, he successfully interned at the Donetsk National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after A. B. Solovyanenko.
"X-factor" is the beginning of a musical career

In the fall of 2010, Oleksiy took part in the first season of the Ukrainian version of the world-famous vocal talent show "X-Factor", which is broadcast on the STB channel. Having performed Lara Fabian's composition Adagio ("Adagio") at the casting, he passes all the selection rounds and gets into the group of judge Yolka - "Guys from 14 to 25 years old", performs in 11 live broadcasts of the show and, according to the results of the final audience vote, becomes his the winner, gaining 305,547 votes and ahead of his rival Maria Rak, for whom 221,720 votes were cast.

Solo career — performances

In 2011, Oleksiy signed a contract with Sony Music Russia, which was soon terminated due to the lack of activity of the other party.

Starting from 2012 and up to now, Oleksiy has been taking vocal lessons, as well as attending master classes of foreign teachers in Italy and Austria, studying with Giuseppe Sabbatini and Teodora Caresi. Studied at the Vienna Opera, Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini (Florence, Italy), Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi (Milan, Italy), Accademia nazionale di Santa Cecilia (Rome, Italy), Neues Wiener Konservatorium (Vienna, Austria), Universitatea din Oradea (Oradea, Romania) ). Thanks to this, in addition to his native Ukrainian and Russian, he speaks English, German, Italian and French.

Also works in China, Switzerland, Hungary, Spain, Kazakhstan, Cyprus.

In 2012, Oleksiy participated in two solo concerts of Alessandro Safina in Kyiv accompanied by a symphony orchestra, during which he performed the compositions Adagio and Regress A Mi solo, as well as in a trio with Alessandro Safina and Michaela Marku Libiamo — Funiculì, Funiculà and Con te partirò .

Participates in Ukrainian Fashion Week, the world's longest musical telethon on the First National Channel "Song unites us!", entered in the Guinness Book of Records, the Ukrainian musical project "Give us God" and the opening of the 10th international gymnastics tournament "Stella Zakharova Cup".

Oleksiy was entrusted with the performance of the national anthem at the open training of the national team of Ukraine during Euro-2012, before the fight for the title of world champion according to the WBA version, at the celebration of the Independence Day of the USA in Ukraine, and the anthem of the Football Federation of Ukraine at the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Federation.

With his performances, he congratulated the Donetsk region on its 80th anniversary, and was invited to perform at Pierre Cardin's anniversary.

In 2013, Oleksiy was invited to a closed evening of classical music in Zurich.

In 2015, he gave his first concert in Guangzhou, China.
Notre Dame de Paris

On March 28 and 29, 2015, the premiere of a concert of songs from the musical Notre Dame de Paris will take place at the "Ukraine" Palace in Kyiv. Oleksii performs the role of Claude Frollo, during the concert he performs the following arias: Tu vas me détruire, Être prêtre et aimer une femme - solo, as well as Belle, Fatalité, Florence, Où est-elle?, Visite de Frollo à Esmeralda, Un matin tu dansais, Liberés and L'attaque de Notre-Dame — together with other soloists.
Sport

Interest in academic singing did not harm the young man to seriously engage in sports, and at the age of 17 he became a master of sports in boxing.

In 2014, Oleksiy took part in setting the Ukrainian record for squats.

Oleksiy is fond of crossfit, at the first crossfit competitions in Kyiv, he took fourth place.

Married to ballet dancer Kateryna Olehivna Semenova (born July 31, 1987). He lives in New York with his wife.
