Alfred Vyacheslavovich Kukharev is a Ukrainian pianist, concertmaster, and composer. People's Artist of Ukraine (2003).
He was born on May 9, 1925 in Krasnyi Luch, Luhansk region, in a family of employees. He graduated from the Kyiv Conservatory (1951, class of B. Myrych). He worked as an accompanist at the Kyiv Conservatory, the Ukrainian State Opera and Ballet, etc.
In 1953-1965, he was a member of the staff of the Dovzhenko Kyiv Film Studio.
Among the films he dubbed: "Valley of the Blue Rocks" (1956), "Ukrainian Rhapsody" (1958), "Summer of Youth", "Emergency. An Extraordinary Event (1959), Roman and Francesca (1960).
Since 1959, he has been a soloist and concertmaster at the Kyiv State Conservatory.
