Krasotov Oleksandr (May 5, 1936-2007) was a Ukrainian composer. Honored Artist of Ukraine (1987).
He was born on May 5, 1936 in Odesa. He graduated from the Odesa Conservatory with a degree in composition (1959) and a specialty in musicology. He teaches at the conservatory. Professor (1991).
Author of operas, operettas, vocal and symphonic works, music for paintings: "Boxing", "Girl with a Doll" (1962), "Anetta" (1967), and the animated film "Disheveled Sparrow" (1967). Member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine.
