Koval Mykola Petrovych

Mykola Petrovych Koval (born 9 May 1946, Verkhosulka village, Bilopilskyi district, Sumy region - died 9 February 2018, Kharkiv) was a Ukrainian singer (baritone) and teacher, People's Artist of Ukraine (1999).
Biography
1977 - graduated from the Kharkiv Institute of Arts (class of O. Kostiuk).

Since 1975, he has been a soloist at the Mykola Lysenko Kharkiv Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Since 1990, he has also been teaching at the Kharkiv University of Arts. In 2010, he was promoted to professor. Since 2011 - Professor of the Department of Solo Singing.

In 1999, he was awarded the title of People's Artist of Ukraine.

His voice was heard on the stages of Germany, France, Spain, and the Netherlands.

He passed away on 9 February 2018.
