Kostrynsky Hryhorii Isakovych (1942) - Ukrainian musician, professor of the Department of Orchestral Wind and Percussion Instruments of the Prokofiev Donetsk State Music Academy, Honoured Artist of Ukraine (1981).
Creative achievements
He was the first bassoonist in Ukraine to master the double staccato technique. The repertoire of his solo concerts includes about 120 pieces from ancient to contemporary composers. He worked in the symphony orchestras of Donetsk, Cairo, and Jerusalem. He played under the baton of prominent conductors and composers A. Khachaturian, L. Kolodub, O. Tattakishvili, K. Ivanov, N. Rakhlin, O. Dimitriadi, Y. Aranovych, S. Turchak, K. Abbado, Y. Yurmandi, V. Kozhukhar, A. El-Riyadi.
