Maksym Kopko (*1859, Galicia - †1919, Kharkiv) was a Ukrainian composer and Greek Catholic priest in Przemysl. Father of Petro Kopko.
Author of numerous choral works: the cantata "Gamalielia" based on the words of Taras Shevchenko (1894), church and secular songs, music for performances. He published the "Musical Library" in Przemyśl. From 1900 to 1907, 14 books were published in Przemyśl for the needs of the local community in the Udelova and Lazar printing house, which are now very rare and are not recorded in deja vu libraries:

In 1918, at the invitation of his son Petro Kopko, he moved to Kharkiv. The following year he was shot by the Bolsheviks, his grave has not been preserved.
Maksym Kopko's brother, Yosyp Kopko, was also a composer.
