Komonko Dmytro Mykolaiovych (born 8 November 1951, Osynnyky, Kemerovo region, now the Russian Federation) is a Ukrainian musician, teacher, Honoured Artist of Ukraine, professor. Honours and diplomas. Laureate of the All-Ukrainian Viola Competition (1976).
Biography.
He graduated from the Ternopil Music College (1971), Lviv Conservatory (1976, now the Music Academy), and completed postgraduate studies at the Conservatory in Moscow (1981, now the Russian Federation).
He worked at the Donetsk Conservatory (1977-1985), Lviv Music School (1985-1999), and since 1999 - at the Lviv Secondary Specialised Music Boarding School (director 2004-2009); at the same time, since 2004 - at the Lviv Music Academy (professor of the Department of Stringed Instruments).
Concertmaster of the chamber orchestra "Lviv Virtuosi". Since 2000, he has been a member of the jury of the International Youth Competition in Slovakia.
