Oksana Valerivna Kolomiets (02.06.1982, Hirnyk) is an Honoured Artist of Ukraine, soloist of the Lviv National Philharmonic named after M. Skoryk, member of the National Union of Kobzars of Ukraine.

Biography
Oksana Kolomiets is a bandura player, singer, conductor, teacher, Honoured Artist of Ukraine, member of the National Union of Kobzars of Ukraine, soloist of the Lviv National Philharmonic, soloist of the Lvivianky Bandura Quartet.

She was born on 2 June 1982 in the village of Hirnyk, Lviv region.

In 1997, she graduated from Chervonohrad Secondary School No. 6 and Hirnyk Music School with two degrees in accordion and bandura.

In 2001, she graduated with honours from the orchestral faculty (bandura class) at the Lviv State Music College named after S. Liudkevych, where she received qualifications as an artist, bandura teacher, conductor (bandura class of N. Yakymets, conducting class of L. Datsyna).

In 2006, she graduated from the Orchestral Faculty (bandura class) at the Mykola Lysenko Lviv State Music Academy, where she received the qualification of artist, bandura teacher, conductor (bandura - class of the Honoured Artist of Ukraine O. Herasymenko, conducting - class of the Honoured Artist of Ukraine O. Tsyhylyk).

In 2009, she graduated with honours from the vocal faculty of the Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy, where she received a master's degree and qualifications as an opera singer, concert singer, and teacher (vocals - class of the Honoured Artist of Ukraine A. Dashak).

Since 2004 (and till now) she has been a soloist of the Lviv National Philharmonic named after M. Skoryk as a member of the Bandura Quartet "Lvivianky", which was created to promote the bandura and Ukrainian musical culture. The band's repertoire includes more than 200 pieces of various genres and styles, many of which have been recorded on six audio albums ("Kalyna, the Patroness of Love", "Lvivianky", "Treasures of the Soul", "Amabile", "Fairy Christmas", "Classics in the Temple"). The recordings of the Lvivianky Bandura Quartet have been featured in many radio and television programmes in Ukraine and around the world. During all the years of her creative activity in this collective, the singer-bandura player has performed in numerous concerts throughout Ukraine and abroad. She is assigned solo parts in the quartet's repertoire in works of various styles and genres, from the Baroque era to the latest works by contemporary composers, who often write for her voice. The quartet has consistently presented Ukrainian and European musical culture in concert halls not only in Ukraine but also in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Hungary, Spain, the Czech Republic and Poland. The quartet of bandura players "Lvivianky" has been repeatedly awarded honorary diplomas, certificates and letters of appreciation for their active national and public position and promotion of the standards of high Ukrainian and world art adapted to the special and capricious Ukrainian national instrument bandura.

In May 2019, all members of the band were awarded the high title of Honoured Artist of Ukraine.

In 2009-2011, she was a soloist at the opera studio of the Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy, where she performed in operas: S. Hulak-Artemovsky's "Zaporozhets Beyond the Danube" (the role of Oksana), W.A. Mozart's "Don Giovanni" (the role of Zerlina), G. Donizetti's "Love Drink" (the role of Adina) and S. Liudkevych's "Dovbush" (the first performer of the role of Marichka).

In 2009-2011, he taught bandura and vocals at the bandura choir "Gamaliya" of the Centre for Children and Youth Creativity in Galicia.

From 2013-2015, she was the artistic director and conductor of the Kobza Folk Bandura Ensemble at the Lviv National Academy of Veterinary Medicine named after S. Hzhytskyi.

Since 2017, she has been invited to teach bandura, vocals, and lead the bandura ensemble at the Lviv Children's Music School No. 2.

She has participated in many scientific and practical conferences.
