Khutoriansky Igor Nikolayevich

Ihor Mykolaiovych Khutoryansky (born 21 December 1924, Nemyriv) is a Ukrainian composer and teacher.

Biography.
He was born on 21 December 1924 in Nemyriv (now Vinnytsia region, Ukraine). In 1955, he graduated from the Kyiv Conservatory (studied with L. Revutsky).

His works include
symphonies - "Poem" (1955), "Prelude" (1956), "Overture" (1966);
for orchestra of folk instruments - "Ural Suite" (1956), "Song and Scherzo" (1957);
for piano - "Lullaby" (1955), "30 Little Canons" (1970);
Pieces (1971);
for piano and wind instruments: "Impromptu" (1970) for oboe, "Havot" (1976), "Two Duets" (1977), "Lullaby" (1977) for flutes.
