Khristenko Stanislav

Stanislav Khrystenko (born 25 May 1984, Kharkiv) is a Ukrainian-American concert pianist.

Biography.
Stanislav Khrystenko was born into a Ukrainian-Jewish family in Kharkiv and began taking piano lessons at the age of 7. He received his professional training at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow and the Cleveland Institute of Music.

In 2010, Khrystenko made his debut at the Vienna Concert Hall and released a CD of Ernest Krenek Works on Oehms Classics.

In 2013, Stanislav Khrystenko won the Maria Canals International Piano Competition, the Cleveland Piano Competition and the fourth prize at the Queen Elizabeth Piano Competition.

In 2014, Khrystenko made his debut at Zankel Hall in Carnegie Hall and released the album Fantasies on the Steinway label.

In February 2015, Stanislav Khrystenko was officially added to the list of Steinway Artists. In the summer of 2015, he also made his debut at the Ravinia Festival and released the first volume of Ernst Krenk's works on the classical toccata.
