Khoma Orest Tarasovych

Orest Tarasovych Khoma (born 10 March 1956) is a Ukrainian singer, former vocalist of the band Smerichka.
From his biography
Orest was born on 10 March 1956 in Lviv. He graduated from the Lviv Music College and the Lviv Veterinary Institute.

In 1977, he began performing for the band Vatra. Later he joined the band Smerichka.

Since 1990, he has been singing in a family band with his wife Inesa Bratuschyk, and together they have recorded 6 audio albums. Almost half of the singers' repertoire consists of kolomyikas and humorous songs.
He has toured England, Austria, Monaco, Greece, Belgium, Germany, New Zealand, Australia, the USA, Canada, Italy, France, Israel, Afghanistan and India with his songs. He is the host of the Music Mail programme on UT-1 TV channel. Participant of the Chervona Ruta-91 and Maria-92 festivals.

He and his wife have two daughters: Marianna (b. 22 November 1997), who works as a journalist, and Solomiya (b. 21 January 2010).
