Hryhorii Volodymyrovych Kernytsia is a Ukrainian artist and public figure. Honoured Artist of Ukraine.
Originally from Przemysl.
Founder and chairman of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Social and Cultural Society "Nadsiannia" (1993-2013). He was a methodology teacher at the D. Sichynskyi Ivano-Frankivsk State Music College.
For more than 50 years he has been directing choirs, and in 2008 he visited Chortkiv to lead the chamber choir of the city's teacher's house from Ivano-Frankivsk at a recital of sacred music by composer Hryhorii Kurzeba.
