Karpinets Nina

She was born in Lviv. Studied (1985-1989) at the F. Kolessa Music and Pedagogical College. She graduated from the Mykola Lysenko Higher State Music Institute with a degree in vocal performance (1990-1997) in the class of solo singing of Professor Lyudmyla Bozhko and chamber singing of Zinaida Maksymenko.

From 1997 to 2008, she worked as a soloist at the opera studio at the Mykola Lysenko Music Academy. During her work, she performed opera parts from operas by Bizet, Donizetti, Rossini, Cimarosa, Lysenko, and others.

Since 1997, she has been working as a soloist of the Lviv National Philharmonic named after M. Skoryk).

Laureate of the International Vocal Competition (Belarus). She has toured Poland and Germany.

She is the author of the music collection "I Would Like to Become a Song" (romances based on Lesya Ukrainka's poems from the repertoire of Nina Karpinets).

She is the author of many concert programmes, including "I Would Like to Become a Song" (solos based on Lesya Ukrainka's poems), "Great Harmony" (sacred music, works by I. Sonevytsky), "Ball of Fairy Tales", "To You, My Native" (dedicated to Mother's Day), "My Evening Star", "Sound the Native Language", "The Bells of Memory Will Not Be Silenced" and many others. She took part in musicals for children: "Nikita the Fox, The Magic Sabre, The Gift of the Forest Wizard, The Winter's Tale, The Mitten, The Return of Ivan, Noah's Ark.
