He was born on January 30, 1930 in Kharkiv. Graduated from the Kharkiv Conservatory (1953, class of D. Klebanov).
Author of operas, ballets, and film scores: "Escape from the Palace" (1975), "Be on the alert, Your Highness!" (1978).
He was a member of the Union of Composers of Ukraine.
