Karashchuk Vitaliy Vlasovich

1946-2013

Vitalii Vlasovych Karashchuk (born 2 June 1946 - 19 February 2013) was a Ukrainian pianist and teacher. In 1982-1991, he was the director of the R. Glier Kyiv Music School.

Biography.
Graduated from the M. Glinka Dnipro Music College and the P. Tchaikovsky Kyiv Conservatory (1966-1971).

On 21 April 1982, by the order of the Main Department of Culture of the Kyiv City Executive Committee, he was appointed director of the R. Glière Kyiv Music School, where, during his years of work until November 1991, he did much to create an experimental base of new technologies involving technical means of education in the educational process.

He also headed the methodological office of educational institutions of culture and arts, and held civil service positions at the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.

Family.
Son Andriy is a clarinetist, grandson Vlad Karashchuk (stage name LAUD) is a Ukrainian singer and composer, songwriter, finalist of the project "The Voice 6"
