Ihor Mykhailovych Ivantsiv (born May 19, 1956) is a Ukrainian composer, member of the National League of Composers of Ukraine and the Association of Organizers of Children and Youth Festivals of Ukraine in Ivano-Frankivsk region.
He lives and works in Burshtyn (Palace of Culture "Prometheus" at the Burshtyn Thermal Power Plant).
Professional activity
He has been engaged in professional creative activity for 25 years.
His creative work includes about a hundred songs performed by various professional performers: People's Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Pirus, Victor Green, Taras Zhytynsky, Oksana Romanyuk, Mika Newton (Oksana Hrytsai), Vasyl Levytsky.
He collaborates with the leading poets of the Carpathian region: Stepan Pushyk, Roman Yuzva, Yaroslav Doroshenko, Petro Narivnyi, Volodymyr Nakonechnyi, Vira Petrashchuk, Petro Marusyk, Mykhailo Parkhuts, Oleksandr Smyk, Iryna Oliynyk, Anatolii Figliuk.
An important place in the composer's work is occupied by work with children of different age groups. At the Prometheus Cultural Center, he created a vocal studio for pop singers, from which Victor Green, Mika Newton, Oksana Romaniuk, and Vasyl Levytskyi entered the professional scene.
In 1997, he was recognized as the best children's composer in Ukraine. Member of the jury of leading children's festivals - "Black Sea Games", "Crystal Lark", "Golden Stream". On the occasion of his 50th birthday, he prepared a song collection, which includes songs for children and adults, and released two CDs, one of which is for children.
