Ivanov Vladimir Fedorovich

1937-2010

Volodymyr Fedorovych Ivanov (November 13, 1937, Serbka village, Kominternivskyi district, Odesa region - July 2010) was a Ukrainian musicologist, composer, and teacher. Member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine.
In 1962 he graduated from the music school in Voronezh. In 1967 he graduated from the Odesa Conservatory.

After graduating from the Conservatory, in 1967-1974 he worked at the Kamianets-Podilskyi Pedagogical Institute (now Kamianets-Podilskyi National University) as an assistant, senior lecturer, and dean of the Faculty of Music and Pedagogy.

Since 1974 he has been living and working in Mykolaiv.

His wife Liudmyla Ivanova is a musicologist.
