Ishchuk Ruslan Vasyl'ovych

Ruslan Ishchuk (born 25 June 1949, Pochayiv, Kremenets district, Ternopil region) is a Ukrainian musician, choir master conductor. Member of the National League of Ukrainian Composers (1997), Association of Variety Artists of Ukraine (1998). Died - 10 January 2022
Biography
He was born on 25 June 1949 in Pochayiv (Kremenets district, Ternopil region, now Ukraine).

He graduated from the Pochayiv Music School (1964), Terebovlia Cultural and Educational School (1967; now Higher School of Culture), Ivano-Frankivsk Pedagogical Institute (1972; now University).

While studying at the university, he was the director of the vocal and instrumental ensemble Opryshky. Head of the VIA: "Zbruch" of the Ternopil (1974-1975), "Berkut" of the Ivano-Frankivsk (1975-1976) and "Zakarpattia-Zakarpattia" of the Transcarpathian (1980-1982) Regional Philharmonic.

Since 1990 - in Ternopil, the head of the song theatre "Litopys" at TNEU.

Creativity.
The author of the songs "Cannes" (1968) with lyrics by Fedir Pyhovych, "Current" (1967) with lyrics by Stepan Pushyk, etc.

Albums and audio cassettes of "Opryshky" were released in Canada (Toronto), the USA (New York), Australia (all in 1972) and on the All-Union record label "Melodiya".
