Ilyin Vadim Grigorievich

1942

Vadim Grigorievich Ilyin is a Soviet, Ukrainian and Russian composer. Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1989).
He was born on January 5, 1942 in Kyiv. Graduated from the Kyiv Conservatory (1971, class of Myroslav Skoryk).

He is the author of ballet, musicals, symphonies, as well as music for theater performances, television programs, and films.

Since 1972, he has been a member of the Union of Composers of the USSR, and since 1991 - of the Union of Composers of Ukraine.

In 1991 he emigrated to Israel. He has been a member of the Israeli League of Composers since 1997.

Since 2007, he has lived in Russia, in Moscow. Since 2008 he has been a member of the Russian Composers' Union.
