Viktor Hrebenovskyi: photo hunting for an interesting shot
His father Myroslav Hrebenovskyi was a teacher, musician, and worked as the director of the Buchach Children's Music School. His mother, Stefaniia Ivanivna, was a theater director (in particular, of the exemplary theater for young viewers at the district house of culture).
He graduated from the 8th grade of Buchach Secondary School No. 1 (now Buchach Gymnasium named after V. Hnatiuk), then from the Solomiya Krushelnytska Ternopil Music College (1980), and from the Rivne Pedagogical Institute (now the State Humanitarian University, 2003).
He participated in the first contest-festival of contemporary song "Chervona Ruta-1989" as a member of the VIA "Orpheus" of the Buchach Regional House of Culture as the winner (first place) of the regional qualifying competition. He works at the Buchach District House of Culture, head of the Opus instrumental ensemble.
He is one of the co-founders of the "Maple" studio.
On September 12, 2005, together with his family (his wife and children under the guidance of his father), he won the Grand Prix of the regional festival-competition "Ukrainian Family", which took place in Buchach.
In 2012, in the contest "Wiki Loves Sights", Viktor Hrebenovskyi's photo of the Basilian Monastery in Buchach was recognized as one of the best.

His wife Oksana is a singer (diploma winner of the Volodymyr Ivasiuk International Competition of Young Ukrainian Pop Singers, laureate of the International Song Festival-Contest "Dolya" (first prize)), musician (violinist), teacher (teaches at the Buchach Children's Music School). Bohdan's daughter is a choreography teacher at the Terebovlia Higher School of Culture, and the wife of Los Colorados drummer Oleh Petryshyn.
