Gulko Vasyl

1959

Vasyl Hulko (born 2 October 1959 in Derazhnia, Khmelnytskyi region) is a Ukrainian conductor. Honoured Artist of Ukraine (1998). Colonel of the police in the reserve.
He graduated from the Moscow Conservatoire (1986; class of Ivan Chakmishyan).

Conducted military orchestras.

1990-1992 - Chief - Military Conductor of the Orchestra of the Headquarters of the Siberian Military District (Novosibirsk, Russia);

1992-1996 - military conductor of the Separate Demonstration Orchestra of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (Kyiv);

1996-1998 - responsible editor of music programmes at the Central TV Studio of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (Kyiv);

1998-2005 - artistic director of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (Kyiv);

Since 2005 - Head of the Centre of Culture and Arts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (Kyiv).

Creative work.
Author or co-author of the songs "Let's Meet", "To a Friend of Law Enforcement", "I fell in love", "Red Berets", "Good luck to the police on duty", "Our Day" (dedicated to the Day of the Police of Ukraine), "May Confession", "Good Luck".
