Pianist Serhii Grihorenko

Candidate of art history
He was born in Lviv. In 2005, he graduated with honors from the Lviv National Music Academy named after M. Lysenko in the class of honored artist of the Republic of Poland, professor Maria Tarnavetska. From 2003 to 2005, he was a scholar of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. From 2005 to 2008, he studied at a postgraduate course at the same academy, in the class of Prof. Maria Tarnavetska. At the same time, as part of the "Gaude Polonia" scholarship program of the Minister of Culture of Poland, he underwent an internship at the Music Academy named after F. Chopin in Warsaw under the guidance of prof. Kazimir Gerzhod (2006)
during 2011-2012 worked as a soloist of the Lviv Philharmonic
He is the winner and laureate of such competitions as:
- All-Ukrainian competition named after G. Neuhaus (Kirovohrad 2000, III award);
- II International Competition named after M. Lysenko (Kyiv 2002 diploma);
- International competition of young performers "Art of the XXI century." (Kyiv 2003 - 1st prize);
- II International Competition named after E. Gilelsa (Odesa 2003. III prize, bronze medal);
- International chamber music competition "Art of the XXI century." (Kyiv 2004, 1st prize);
-2006 Laureate of the 1st Frideric Chopin Music Festival-Competition (Lviv, medal and invitation to a concert in Geneva)
-II Internationaler Gesangs-Wettbewerb der Accademia Belcanto (Graz, 2016. Yander-Preis bester Klawierbegleiter- diploma of the best concertmaster of the competition)
- III Open International singing competition (Kamyanets-Podilskyi, 2017. Diploma of the best concertmaster of the competition)
