Nataliia Hrydneva (b. 29 August 1947, Kyiv) is a Ukrainian pianist and teacher.
Biography.
Natalia was born in Kyiv in the family of a prominent Soviet scientist, academician Vitalii Hrydniev.
She graduated from the Kyiv Conservatory and completed her assistantship-training (1975) in the class of Vsevolod Vorobiev.
Since 1974, she has been a teacher at the Mykola Lysenko Kyiv Secondary Specialised Music School.
Since 2002, she has been teaching at the National Music Academy of Ukraine (since 2003, Associate Professor, since 2010, Professor).
She has performed piano concerts, but is better known for her teaching. She has trained many well-known Ukrainian pianists, winners of international competitions, who are active in international concert activities. Among her students are Oleksii Hryniuk, Oleh Polianskyi, Mykhailo Danchenko, Vadym Kholodenko, Andrii Yaroshynskyi, Oleksandr Hryniuk, Oleksii Stukalenko, Aliya Akbergenova, Arsen Yakovenko, Andrii Lunev, Ilya Ovcharenko, Oleksii Kanke and others.
In 2012, she was the author and compiler of the piano textbook by N. Hrydnev, M. Khrapachov, K. Lavro "I want to play the piano" (Musical Ukraine Publishing House, 2012).
