Viktor Honcharenko (born April 29, 1959, Dnipro) is a Ukrainian composer. Member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine (1988).
1977 - studied at the M. Glinka Dnipropetrovs'k Music College, conducting and choral department. 1983 - Graduated from the Kyiv Conservatory (class of Vitaliy Kireiko), and also studied organ with Arseniy Kotliarevsky.
He composed his first works as a student in the early 1980s. Subsequently, he composed a number of organ fantasies, fugues, Prelude and Fugue, Chaconne for solo organ, and Dialogues for organ and piano.
1983-1994 - Senior Music Editor of the Music Ukraine Publishing House.
1994-1995 - music editor of the Music Information Center of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine.
1995-1999 - researcher, senior researcher at the Ukrainian Center for Cultural Research.
Since 1997, he has worked at the SAN Publishing Association, since 1999 - at the Komvydav Publishing House, and since 2001 - at the Kareta Publishing House.
Since 2006, he has been working as a web programming specialist.
Among the performers of his organ works are People's Artists of Ukraine Iryna Kalynovska and Volodymyr Koshuba, Svitlana Bardaus, Valeria Balakhovska, Olha Dmytrenko, Oleksandra Sydorenko, and Yevheniia Kravchenko.
