Gershenzon Dmitry Lazarevich

Dmytro Lazarovych Gershenzon (born 9 March 1956, Balta, Odesa Oblast, Ukrainian SSR) is a Ukrainian musician, singer, composer and arranger. Honoured Artist of Ukraine (1996).
He was a member of the Crimean Regional Philharmonic, a bass guitarist, and began to make his first arrangements.

In 1981, he returned to the VIA "Zbruch" of the Ternopil Regional Philharmonic as a bass guitarist;

Dmytro Gershenzon came to Svityaz by the second "round". At first, he was brought there by Ternopil drummer Ihor Sazonov to fill the vacancy of a bass guitarist. He was not offered a job at the time.

Since 1983, Dmytro Gershenzon has been with the VIA Svityaz of the Volyn Regional Philharmonic. In 1993, Dmytro Gershenzon became a musician of the Svityaz duo. Working in the ensemble "Svityaz", he gained recognition.

Dmytro Gershenzon lived and worked in Lutsk since 1983. From 1983 to 1994, he was the musical director of the VIA Svityaz. In 1987, Anatolii Hovoradlo joined Svityaz, with whom Dmytro Gershenzon formed a creative duo in 1988. In 2005, he moved to Kyiv. 2005 - collaboration with the studio of Yuriy Lych "OshermiX".

In 2013, Dmytro Gershenzon emigrated to Israel.

Personal life.
Dmytro Gershenzon is married and has two children, a daughter and a son.
