Oleksandr Oleksandrovych Herynovych (or Herynovych) (born 9 March 1936, Novosibirsk, Russia) is a Ukrainian conductor and teacher. Grandson of Volodymyr Herynovych, the reference of Yevhen Petrushevych.
Biography.
Graduated from the Lviv Secondary Specialised Music Boarding School named after Solomiya Krushelnytska (teachers Orest Berezovsky, O. Tyshchenko, Y. Spitser, 1955), Lviv Conservatory (1960, cello class of Petro Pshenychka; 1962, class of opera and symphony conducting of Adam Soltys, Isaac Pain).
1970s-1980s - director of the folk instruments orchestra;
1979 - Associate Professor at the Lviv Conservatory;
1980-1986 - Head of the Department of Orchestral Conducting, 1987 - Professor at the Rivne Institute of Culture;
1982-1984 - director of the chamber orchestra of the Rivne Philharmonic;
1993-1997 - Director of the Symphony Orchestra of the Lviv Conservatory;
Since 1998 - Head of the Department of Orchestral Conducting.
