Hryhorii Abramovych Finarovskyi (2 January 1906, Shpola - 25 November 1979) was a Ukrainian composer.
Biography.
Graduated from the Kharkiv Music and Drama Institute (class of S. Bohatyrev); 1952-73 - executive secretary of the Kharkiv organisation of the Union of Composers of Ukraine.
Works: Variations for piano and orchestra on the theme of Ukrainian folk songs, musical comedy - "Palm Island", "Spring is coming to the city", etc., choral works, works for piano and cello, solo songs, among others, on the words of Taras Shevchenko, children's songs.
