Filonenko Yuri Pavlovych (May 19, 1958, Volodymyr, Volyn region - June 14, 1998, Volodymyr, Volyn region) - Ukrainian composer, pianist, teacher, organizer of numerous festivals. Brother of the famous Ukrainian musicologist Filonenko Ludomyr Pavlovich.
Biography
Study in Lviv at the Stanislav Lyudkevych Music School, Mykola Lysenko Conservatory.
Author of over 50 works in various musical genres. In 2018, the collection "Songs of Anna Shkolnikova on the verses of Yuri Filonenko" was published in Drohobych (publishing house "Posvit"), which contains seven compositions.
