Mykola Filimonov (1884-13 January 1943), opera singer-baritone and prominent vocal teacher. From 1916 he worked at the Kyiv Opera (with interruptions); professor at the Mykola Lysenko Music and Drama Institute (1925-1932) in Kyiv. In 1933-37 he was in exile. He died in Kyiv.
