Volodymyr Ivanovych Fedotov (Russian: Владимир Иванович Федотов; born 16 March 1945) is a Soviet and Ukrainian opera singer (lyric and dramatic tenor), teacher. People's Artist of Ukraine (1993).
Biographical information
Born in the village of Berezivske in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. He received his education at the Lviv Conservatory, where he studied with Pavlo Karmalyuk. Graduated from the Lviv Conservatory. He trained in Italy at the La Scala Theatre in Milan. For a long time he was a leading soloist of the National Opera of Ukraine.
Since 2005, he has been working at the Department of Choral Conducting of the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, Associate Professor. He teaches voice training and solo singing.
