Fandeev Kirill Vladimirovich

1982

Kyrylo Volodymyrovych Fandieiev (born 22 April 1982) is a Ukrainian composer, member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine.
In 1997, he graduated from Donetsk Music School No. 3 (now Art School No. 7), and from the school No. 92.

In 2001, he participated in the EcoArt festival (diploma for the best meditative composition).

In the same year, he graduated from the Donetsk Music College, violin class of N. Derbenova and received a speciality "orchestra artist".

In 2002, after completing one course at the Donetsk Humanitarian Institute (speciality "Music Education"), he entered the Prokofiev Donetsk State Music Academy, composition class (class of Professor, Honoured Artist of Ukraine, Head of the Donetsk Organisation of the Union of Composers of Ukraine S. Mamonov). Mamonov).

In 2007, he graduated with honours from the Academy of Music and received a degree in composition.

In 2008, he became a finalist at the Second All-Russian Composition Competition named after Andriy Petrov in St. Petersburg (the jury was chaired by O. Rybnikov).

In September 2009, he took part in the anniversary festival "KyivMusicFest" in Kyiv, where he premiered his work "Illusions" performed by the new music ensemble "Quarta+".

In December 2009, he became a member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine [Archived 10 April 2016 at the Wayback Machine].

In 2009, he was one of the music editors of the book "Musical Folklore of Donbas: Calendar and Ritual Songs of Donetsk and Adjacent Regions" by Olena Tyurikova, Associate Professor of the Department of Music History and Folklore at the Prokofiev Donetsk State Music Academy (DSMA), Candidate of Arts.

In 2012, he completed an assistantship-training at the Donetsk Music Academy in the class of composition with Professor Serhii Mamonov.

In May 2013, he took part in the first international festival of contemporary art "Donbass modern music art", where the Ukrainian premiere of the symphonic poem "sAD" took place, performed by the Donetsk Symphony Orchestra named after S. Prokofiev under the direction of Oleksandr Dolinsky.

In 2021, he won the first and second prizes at two international GRAND MUSIC ART composing competitions, as well as the third prize at the New Melodies international competition.

The first audio recording officially posted on such leading streaming services as apple music, amazon music, spotify, deezer, SberZvuk, music.youtube, soundcloud, claromusica and others was the electronic composition "Wheel of Time", which was written in April 2021 and published on the above sites in June of the same year.

On 24 March 2023, Melodiya added two compositions by Kirill Fandeev to the Atmospheric Electronics for Work or Leisure playlist: "Wheel of Time" and "2022".

His compositions include numerous chamber works, works for choir, a symphony (premiered in Donetsk on 12 May 2007 at the Prokofiev Regional Philharmonic performed by the Donetsk State Academic Symphony Orchestra conducted by Viktor Oliynyk), a symphonic poem "SAD" (premiered in St. Petersburg at the State Academic Philharmonic named after D. D. Shostakovich performed by the St. Petersburg State Academic Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Alexander Titov on 14 September 2008), Electronic works ("Wheel of Time", "Premonition", "Jest", "Courage" and others)
